Triage Referral Program
Triage is a top-ranked medical staffing agency that connects traveling Nursing, Laboratory, Radiology, Cardiopulmonary, and Rehab Therapy professionals with facilities across the country. While Triage has always had a referral program—offering up to $750 per referral—there was no way for referrers to track their referrals or check their status.
Objective
The referral program’s objective was twofold – to make the referral process to Triage painless for both individuals and companies, while empowering them to monitor the status of their referrals.
Prior to the referral program. Triage solicited referrals informally, and this practice was to continue. For simplicity, Triage should maintain the pre-signup process as a basic email submission. The email address submitted would determine if the individual/company is already a referrer. This would be handled through HubSpot. If not, the user should be presented with the option to join Triage’s referral program, highlighting the benefits. This approach would allow users to keep track of their referrals, monitor expected payouts, and potentially develop a profitable side hustle.
Solution
A user-friendly dashboard was built using the Tailwind framework within HubSpot. The dashboard gave users full transparency into their referral status and payout progress. It also allowed them to easily submit new referrals and share their referral link right from the dashboard. The initial one-page dashboard was designed as a starting point, with future plans to expand into a full logged-in experience with advanced features

How we got the word out
To help spread the word, the Marketing team launched a campaign to boost the visibility of the referral program and increase participation. I created carousel ads, a landing page in WordPress, and an email template in HubSpot to support the campaign and drive engagement.
